Optiven Global Office, which was inaugurated in Karen on November 10, 2022, has marked its one-year anniversary with remarkable achievements and expansion.
The launch event was graced by Justice Daniel Musinga, President of the Court of Appeal, and attended by Chief Executive George Wachiuri, the Optiven board of directors, and other dignitaries.
The occasion highlighted the global opportunities that the new office would bring for Optiven.
Situated at Zamani Business Park in Karen, the standalone Optiven Global Office has evolved into a pivotal hub for Optiven’s diaspora operations, contributing significantly to the company’s foray into new markets.
General Manager Joe Alando emphasized the office’s role in Optiven’s success and its integral contribution to the diaspora’s growth within the organization.
Since its launch on November 15, 2022, the office has experienced substantial expansion, growing from 14 staff members to over 60 within a year.
“We started with a modest team, and the growth we have witnessed in 2023 is phenomenal. We now have over 60 dedicated staff members, presenting us with even greater opportunities to inspire endless possibilities,” remarked Human Resource Manager Benjamin Nzioki.
Despite the main offices being situated at Absa Towers in Nairobi, the Optiven Global Office has played a crucial role in Optiven’s ambitious goal of hiring 30,000 staff by 2030.
Chief Executive George Wachiuri, reflecting on the remarkable growth, announced the launch of new offices in Golden Life Mall, Nakuru, and Shifa Plaza, Mtwapa, catering to clients in the Rift Valley and Coastal region, respectively.
Wachiuri attributed this growth to the trust vested in Optiven by investors, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to empowering more Kenyans.
Since its launch, Optiven has expanded its footprint to over 80 cities in 2023 alone, including prominent locations such as Abu Dhabi, Johannesburg, Vienna, and Los Angeles.
This marks a commitment to delivering on the promise of excellence right at the doorstep of investors.
